They will undertake a full range of direct care duties, primarily running the out-patient clinics working in support of and supervised by a trained nurse. Main duties of the job Assist individual patients with elements of basic nursing care and the implementation of programmes of care under the direction of a registered nurse. Contribute to the ongoing support of patients and their relatives. Contribute to the support of patients in transition from one care setting to another Assist with obtaining, transmitting and storing information related to the delivery of a care service. Participate in clerical duties as required. Support qualified staff by carrying out accurate record keeping, taking and relaying verbal and written messages promptly, respecting confidentiality.
