Role Overview
We seek an enthusiastic Sales Assistant to deliver an exceptional shopping experience. With opportunities for career development, JD Group is ideal for motivated individuals eager to progress and develop their careers.
Responsibilities
1. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly, ensuring they receive the best experience, and understanding the customer service measurement programme.
2. Drive and exceed sales targets by utilizing in-store devices, offering the full product range, and maximizing opportunities for add-on sales.
3. Maintain high visual and merchandising standards by ensuring the shop floor is clean, well-stocked, and displays are organized according to brand guidelines.
4. Support overall store operations by assisting in other departments as needed, representing the company professionally, and adhering to safety guidelines.
5. Process sales transactions, including cash handling and card payments accurately.
6. Upsell and cross-sell products to maximise sales opportunities.
7. Maintain stock levels on the shop floor and ensure shelves are well-organized and appealing.
8. Address and resolve customer queries professionally.
9. Work closely with team members to achieve store targets.
Role Objectives and KPIs
1. Contribute to achieving or exceeding the store's monthly sales target.
2. Drive KPIs including Units, Conversion, ATV, UPT.
3. Achieve upselling or cross-selling targets.
4. Maintain a high Net Promoter Score.
5. Ensure all stock on the shop floor is fully replenished.
Skills and Experience
1. A positive attitude towards a fast-paced, customer-focused retail environment.
2. Ability to view challenges as opportunities for growth and learning.
3. Confident interpersonal and communication skills, thriving in social situations.
4. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on store needs.
