We are currently looking to recruit an excellent and experienced hands-on Chef Manager to join a key FMCG client of ours. This is an exciting opportunity; you will ooze passion to deliver exceptional customer service that builds valuable long-term relationships with colleagues, customers, and clients. You’ll be an inspirational leader who loves getting the best from your team and supporting them to be the best they can be.
You will join our dedicated catering team with a focus on delivering a high-quality service ensuring food is delivered in a clean safe environment. The Ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar environment. You will love a challenge as well as a varied workload.
Main Responsibilities
What you’ll do:
* Ensure a prompt delivery of all services in line with the companies and clients standards
* Cook / produce hot & cold food daily.
* Manage the kitchen team to achieve the desired results driving forward service excellence and delivering quality ensuring that recipes and specifications are adhered to.
* To ensure that methods of preparation and presentation comply with company policy and within budgetary costs.
* Ensure all areas are clean and tidy as far as reasonably practicable but especially at the end of shift.
* Comply with all client policies/procedures in relation to housekeeping/infection control/security.
* Ensure that all requirements in relation to COSHH are adhered to, as specified by the GSM.
* To report all faults in relation to cleaning machinery/equipment to the Assistant GSM/GSM.
