About the Role: Deliver engaging and challenging lessons in both Business and Economics across Key Stages 4 and 5, following relevant examination specifications. Plan and prepare high-quality lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities, ensuring all students are challenged and supported. Utilize a range of teaching methods and resources, including case studies, simulations, economic data, and real-world examples, to bring both subjects to life. Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support individual learning journeys. Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations in both Business and Economics, ensuring they have a strong understanding of assessment criteria. Contribute to the development of the Business and Economics curriculum and resources. Foster a love of both subjects in students, encouraging them to develop their analytical, problem-solving, and entrepreneurial skills. Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment. Contribute to extracurricular activities and enrichment programs related to business, economics, and current affairs. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Strong subject knowledge in both Business and Economics. Demonstrated ability to teach both subjects across Key Stages 4 and 5. Experience in preparing students for GCSE and A-Level examinations in both subjects. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities. A passion for both business and economics and a commitment to fostering critical thinking and entrepreneurial spirit.
