Job summary North Middlesex Hospital in the Community NHS Trust are seeking to recruit an Early Years Practitioner to be part of an innovative Speech and Language project aimed at reducing inequalities in one of the most deprived areas of Enfield. You will work as part of a small team working towards improving early communication outcomes for children and families in the Edmonton area of Enfield; delivering high quality universal and targeted health services to meet the key improvement priorities. The role will involve working within both community settings and including family homes. Key aspects of the role include: Supporting health promotion planning and delivery, communication assessment, multi-agency working to support children and families, supporting with delivering training. You will be supporting interventions with families and children including play, interaction and supporting children's early communication development. Excellent communication skills and a passion for public health are essential, alongside good organisational skills, flexibility to meet the needs of the service, and ability to travel independently to meet service delivery as required.
