We are partnering with an industry-leading hedge fund to hire for a newly created Client Services position based in London. This collaborative role involves working closely with clients, preparing reports, managing due diligence requests (DDQs/RFPs), and coordinating investor updates and materials.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential investors, including institutional clients, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals globally.
2. Coordinate and produce regular investor communications, including quarterly performance reports, newsletters, and presentations.
3. Manage investor queries and requests, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
4. Support fundraising efforts, including preparing and presenting pitch materials to prospective investors.
5. Assist in due diligence processes, including coordinating and managing RFP/DDQ responses and investor meetings.
6. Monitor and analyze industry trends, competitor strategies, and relevant market developments to provide insights and updates to investors.
7. Collaborate with internal teams (Compliance, Operations, Portfolio Managers) to ensure investor requests and needs are met efficiently.
Qualifications & Skills:
1. 2-5 years of experience in Investor Relations, Finance, or a related field, ideally within a hedge fund, asset management, or private equity environment.
2. Strong understanding of hedge fund strategies, investment products, and the financial markets.
3. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and communicate complex financial information clearly.
4. Proficient in financial analysis and performance reporting, with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
5. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
6. A proactive, self-starter with a high level of professionalism and discretion.
Education & Experience:
1. A degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2. CFA, CAIA, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
