Job Title: Compliance Manager Life Insurance Industry
Location: Reading (Hybrid)
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
We are partnering with a leading life insurance provider renowned for its commitment to customer care and service excellence. They are modern, forward-thinking firm that pride themselves on being innovative thinkers within the industry.
Due to continued growth and a focus on quality, they are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to play a pivotal role in ensuring that the company adheres to all regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
As the Compliance Manager, you will:
1. Lead and manage the companys compliance program, ensuring alignment with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
2. Regularly liaise with Senior Executives across the board/group, including reporting of monitoring reviews and outcomes.
3. Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify compliance gaps and recommend/implement corrective actions.
4. Assist with the design and implementation of company policies and changes and ensuring staff are made aware of these.
5. Correcting any actions that require attention.
6. Stay up-to-date with changes in regulations, industry trends, and best practices, advising senior leadership on the potential impacts on operations.
7. Develop and deliver training programs to employees.
Key Requirements:
8. Proven experience as a Senior member of a Compliance team within the life insurance, health and protection or financial services sector.
9. Strong understanding of current FCA regulations, consumer duty and upcoming changes that will affect this sector.
10. In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks.
11. Relevant life insurance industry qualifications would be beneficial.
12. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
13. High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
