What the Job Involves Manage a varied and complex caseload with professional supervision and advice. Conduct needs assessments following the Care Act 2014, promoting strengths-based approaches. Collaborate with specialist safeguarding colleagues and partake in safeguarding enquiries. Deputise for the Lead Practitioner at multi-disciplinary meetings when required. Supervise non-registered social care practitioners, including addressing capability and conduct issues. Mentor social work students and newly qualified social workers. Identify and address non-social care needs and collaborate with partners as needed. Collaboratively develop value-for-money care packages with individuals and contributing agencies. Assist individuals and communities in making informed choices and decisions. Research and address gaps in available resources for those in need or at risk. Maintain diligent record-keeping and, if necessary, provide court evidence regarding care proceedings. Follow all relevant policies and procedures of the Lincolnshire County Council Adult Care. Skills Professional qualification in social work Current HCPC Social Work Registration Strong experience with adult care practice legislation Interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Analytical assessment skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Organisational and administrative skills Proficient in promoting social inclusion Fluency in spoken English for effective communication
