Job Purpose
This role offers an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Studio Design Manager or Graphic Designer to take on a key role in our marketing team, based at our Exeter head office.
You will be expected to create visually appealing content for a diverse range of online and offline marketing in-line with the Group’s Marketing plan whilst also planning and scheduling workloads for the internal design team. You will act as the first point of contact for the Design studio, working closely with the wider marketing team to schedule workload accordingly.
As part of the role, you will make sure the visual identity of the Group is always up-to-date, relevant, exciting and engages the audience with the various brands across the Group.
Key Accountabilities
* Manage our internal design planning software.
* Plan workloads and delegate projects.
* Produce high-quality marketing assets and visually engaging communications across the Group ensuring that they adhere to the Group’s brand guidelines. This will include a diverse range of projects such as the production of compelling digital communications, sales materials, corporate documents and tool kits.
* Keep up to date with industry best practice and latest marketing trends, adopting new methods of working where relevant.
* To work collaboratively with the Marketing team and the wider team to ensure all assets and communications are of the highest quality.
* To support in ad hoc requests, projects and events as and when required.
Key Technical Skills and Behaviours
* Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud design suite.
* Experience in scheduling and planning. Good verbal, written and presentation skills with high attention to detail.
* Good problem-solving skills with a creative flare.
* Desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Good working knowledge of digital channels and the best way to optimise visuals.
* Experience with video editing and animation would be helpful but not essential.
Essential Professional Qualifications
Educated to Graphic Design degree level or equivalent business experience.
