To provide access to specialist CAMHS Children Looked After Team consultation, assessment and intervention for young people and families. This will take place as an individual worker, online or out in the community, whatever is felt to meet the young person and networks needs best. You will be a member of a specialist CAMHS multi-disciplinary and multi-agency Children Looked After Team which provides specialist psychological services to a CAMHS care group. You will liaise with a broad range of other disciplines and agencies, including education, Children & Families services, voluntary agencies and care systems. You will work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the teams policies and procedures. You will offer a range of assessments and interventions to meet the needs of young people within the service. This may involve both consultations to networks and/or direct work with the child. You will be expected to assess and monitor risk of children and enable the network around the child to ensure their safety. You will be expected to offer training to other networks if it is felt this will enhance a childs experience in care. You will work with a variety of agencies including adult service provider to ensure a quality service is provided and quality transitions of care.
