Job Description
In this role, you will be working closely with our Head of Sustainability and senior management via our Sustainability committee. With support from the wider Sustainability Team, you will be focused on our charity strategy, and in turn work to delivery long-term partnerships with charity organisations that support the community. You will use your infectious passion for CSR to increase the level of colleague engagement across the business. The role offers a great deal of variety and is pivotal in activating Together’s brand values.
What you’ll be doing day to day:
* Action Plan Management – lead and drive forward the Communities Strategy and associated action plan.
* Strategic Planning – supporting the development and delivery of our charity strategy supporting our chosen partners, including targets and initiatives, ensuring alignment to our sustainability strategy.
* Stakeholder Management – collaborate and engage with internal and external stakeholders to generate support for the activities within the strategy.
* Charitable budget management – manage our charitable budget and ensure appropriate internal governance is followed.
* Colleague Volunteering - lead and drive forward the volunteering opportunities as part of the Our Communities strategy.
* Colleague Engagement – ensure colleagues are aware of our charity strategy and know how they can participate.
* Reporting & Data – Have oversight for Together’s collection, analysis and reporting of charity and volunteering data to ensure progress against our ambitions.
* Brand alignment – work closely with stakeholders in marketing to deliver social partnerships in line with Together’s brand position, values and strategy
Qualifications
The ideal candidate:
* Ability to think strategically, assimilating information from various sources
* A strong communicator with various stakeholders across multiple levels of seniority
* Passionate about social impact, able to inspire people to get involved
* A true collaborator, able to bring people together to deliver against objectives
* Previous experience in community impact roles.
* Working within the Together Beliefs of ‘Do the right thing’, ‘Respect for people’ and ‘Being accountable’.
