IT Infrastructure Analyst - Haydock
Location: Haydock | Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00-17:30 | Salary: Flexible hours available, including job shares/amended hours

We are excited to announce a new role within our IT Infrastructure Operations Team. As an Infrastructure Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting infrastructure issues proactively, supporting the integration of new technologies, and defining standards and policies in collaboration with the IT team.
What you'll need:
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work independently and under pressure
* Experience supporting VMware environments 5.x/6.x, including build, deployment, and migration
* Experience supporting Citrix XenApp 6.x/7.x, including build, deployment, and migration
* Understanding of core networking, storage technologies, and security best practices
* Experience with Microsoft Server technologies
* Ability to assess impact and urgency of issues, prioritize accordingly
* Ability to manage workloads independently and report progress regularly
* Knowledge of ITIL and industry best practices
* Ability to document procedures for team support
Desirable skills (not essential):
* Citrix XenDesktop
* Microsoft Exchange
* Experience with virtualization, backup, monitoring, WiFi, or security technologies
