New Opportunity – C&I Design Engineers Looking to Progress into Project Engineering In addition to experienced Project Engineers, we are also keen to hear from C&I Design Engineers with 4–5 years of experience and strong commercial/project awareness who are looking to transition into a Project Engineering role. If you have transferable technical skills and experience in instrumentation, control panel design, commissioning-based work, or construction-based roles, and you're interested in progressing into project engineering, we’d love to hear from you. Location: Based in Stone, Staffordshire, with regular travel to client sites across the UK Salary: Up to £54,000 per annum (depending on skills and experience) We’re also potentially seeking a Lead Project Engineer with extensive experience in leading project teams. This role offers a salary range of £60,000–£65,000 for the right candidate. About the Role As a Project Engineer, you will: Manage technical aspects of one or more projects. Develop and implement robust project lifecycle plans and quality assurance processes. Ensure deliverables meet standards and deadlines. Oversee site activities, including implementation and commissioning. Identify, monitor, and mitigate project risks. Apply cutting-edge technologies to improve efficiency and performance. Mentor and support junior engineers and technicians. What We’re Looking For Qualifications: HND/Degree in an Engineering discipline or significant relevant experience. Specialization: Strong engineering design expertise, ideally with a C&I focus. Experience: Knowledge of safe practices in ATEX environments and familiarity with FAT/SAT processes. Skills: Analytical problem-solving, attention to detail, and excellent communication. Adaptability: Ability to thrive under pressure in dynamic project environments. For Design Engineers: Experience in instrumentation, control panel design, commissioning-based roles, or construction-based engineering, with a keen interest in project engineering.
