Job Description
2nd line support engineer required. Our client is a small UK based IT organisation who pride themselves on providing a professional IT Support Service across Sussex.
They are now looking for an experienced 1st / 2nd line engineer to join their team based in Newhaven.
Position Overview
1. Resolving IT support issues with a pressurised environment
2. Managing work queues and prioritising IT support queries
3. Ensuring customers support issues are logged and recorded with sufficient detail
4. Troubleshooting / network connectivity
5. 50% office based, 50% on-site
6. Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot IT Hardware
7. Will need to be DBS checked
Position Requirements
8. Experience in an IT support role
9. Microsoft 365, setting up users etc.
10. Active Directory
11. VoIP Technologies
12. WordPress, HTLM and CSS is desirable
13. Good network knowledge (setting up routers, wireless networks, DNS & DHCP)
14. Knowledge of Office 365 & servers
15. Knowledge of networking and virtualisation
16. Full UK clean driving license
17. Excellent customer service skills
Position Remuneration
18. Monday to Friday 9am – 17:00pm
19. Salary £23,000 – £30,000 DOE
20. 25 days holiday including bank holiday (extra day off each year of service)
