Overview
Compass Associates are proud to be working in partnership with an established provider within Residential care, who offer support to individuals with complex mental health conditions and learning disabilities, to recruit for a Service Manager to work within their mental health rehabilitation service in Halifax. The service supports adults with complex mental health conditions, with associated complex needs, including behaviours that challenge. The successful candidate will need to have previous experience within a management position, with exposure to mental health conditions.
The Candidate
The Service Manager will work alongside the Area Manager with ensuring quality of care delivered across the service, whilst supporting the staff and service users in a way that reflects their wishes and needs of the people being supported with consistent individual support plans. You will be responsible for managing staff allocations, recruitment, auditing, and reviewing/updating care plans whilst attending and providing supervisions for staff teams.
My client is looking for someone with previous management experience in either a Residential or Supported Living setting, with experience of working with individuals with mental health conditions.

Minimum Requirements
* NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management or equivalent (Desirable)
* Experience working within a similar setting
* Background of working with adults with mental health conditions and complex needs
* Knowledge of the CQC / KLOES / regulations
* Strong people management skills, communicator, team player
* Clear DBS
Location
This role is based in Holmfield, Halifax and is commutable from Halifax City Centre, Bradford, Denholme, Elland, Huddersfield and Keighley.
