We are recruiting Civil Engineers to join our client's roads and drainage team in their Ash Vale offices. As an agile multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy, they offer a full range of services covering Geo-Environmental, Civil, and Structural design, spanning specialisms from infrastructure design of major highways to multi-million-pound residential schemes in central London. They focus on creating places for future generations to thrive.

Salary: Up to £45k DOE
Key Responsibilities
* Responsible directly to the Director for the financial and technical control of civil engineering aspects of various projects.
* Assist the Director in managing financial, technical, and resourcing issues on larger projects.
* Deliver projects within budget and keep colleagues and line managers informed of progress.
* Delegate work to Junior Engineers and Technicians.
* Mentor colleagues to develop technical knowledge.
* Handle technical issues.
* Maintain professional communication as the role is client-facing.
* Review calculations, specifications, drawings, and reports.
* Undertake site visits to monitor project progress and address issues.
* Produce supporting reports for planning applications, such as Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Strategies, etc.
Person Specification
* A MEng or BEng in Civil Engineering.
* Experience in Civil Engineering within a consultancy environment.
* Excellent communication and numerical skills.
* Ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
* Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
* Experience with housing developers is advantageous.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Site 3D, Micro Drainage, and other civil engineering software.
* Knowledge of Highway Authority Sections 38, 116, 117, 278, and Water Authority agreements.
