Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences Norwich Medical School Clinical Trials Unit Clinical Trial Coordinator (full-time, fixed term for 12 months) Ref: RA2290 Salary on appointment will be £30,805 per annum, with an annual increment up to £37,174 per annum Norwich CTU is a UKCRC Registered Clinical Trials Unit, based at the University of East Anglia in the East of England. We support a large number of Clinical Research Projects across a broad range of clinical disciplines and interventions including multicentre randomised drug, device and complex intervention trials. To support this work, we employ a large number of clinical trial managers and coordinators, data programmers, statisticians, health economists, epidemiologists and research methodologists. As a Unit, we have a very diverse and expanding research portfolio. We currently undertake research in the fields of cardiovascular and respiratory medicine, diabetes, neurology, oncology, smoking cessation, CFS, dementia, musculoskeletal, mental health and care and health service improvement. We have a vacancy for a Trial Coordinator to join our team to support the set up and delivery of two NIHR funded trials. UPTURN is a Programme for Applied Research grant currently entering the feasibility testing phase of a support package for COPD patients referred to pulmonary rehabilitation. iACT4CARERS is a randomised trial evaluating the clinical and cost-effectiveness of a digital platform to support carers of people with dementia. The person in this role would be supporting in set up, delivery, close-out and dissemination activities across both projects. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience of clinical trial administration/management, excellent communication and team working and a keen eye for details, to join an established CTU. A degree of remote working is possible. You will have a degree and/or equivalent experience in Clinical Trials and evidence of ability to set up and maintain effective administrative systems in trials. This full-time post is available from 1 May 2025 on a fixed term basis for 12 months.
