The Job:
The Workday Payroll and Absence Configuration Analyst will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and operations support of human capital management, payroll, and absence in Workday, ensuring compliance with UK regulations. This role requires expertise in HCM, payroll, and absence processes, as well as proficiency in Workday system configuration.
Key Responsibilities:
* Configuration and optimization of Workday human capital management, payroll, and absence management, aligned with business needs and regulations.
* Collaborate with Global Regional HR teams to gather requirements and design system solutions.
* Analyze current HR and payroll processes to identify areas for improvement and provide guidance on system functionalities.
* Review and test Workday Feature Releases, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
* Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations and processes.
* Develop and execute test plans related to system changes.
* Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in a timely manner.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
* Proven experience configuring and optimizing Workday HCM, UK payroll, and absence management modules.
* Strong knowledge of UK payroll processes and absence management practices.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
* Excellent communication skills, particularly in translating Workday jargon for non-technical stakeholders.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
* Ability to understand and explain the overall impact of a system or project.
