Our Peterborough response unit is looking for a Multi Trade Operative who enjoy delivering a vital and valued repairs service to residential customers to work within our Response Team. You will specialise in day-to-day repairs, maintenance, and minor refurbishments for our reputable Social Housing client, working in Void properties in Peterborough and the surrounding areas.

The Multi Trade Operative role:
Undertaking multi trade work in occupied, residential properties to complete second fix work including joinery works, some Plumbing and Plastering works.
Specifically, you will be completing a target average output of up to 6 jobs per day, attending to reactive, emergency, and routine repairs as well as planned refurbishment jobs and voids (empty property refurbishments) on occasions too
The work is primarily lone working with the support and guidance of a Foreperson and Contract Manager.
The ability to work professionally and considerately within people’s homes in a customer facing environment, always considering yours and others Health and Safety.
What will you bring as a Multi Trade Operative?
Qualified to an NVQ 2 level or similar professional body, in a core internal trade.
Experience in residential maintenance and repairs work is essential, experience of working as a Multi Trader, specifically with carpentry and basic plumbing expertise.
Excellent customer service skills and strong commitment to retaining these standards whilst working in the professional environment, with the ability to ensure customers feel safe and comfortable in your company.
Motivated in your approach to work, and able to work to individual and team output targets.
Possession of a full current UK Driving license is essential to complete the Multi Trade Joiner role, with a company van provided.
