Job Description
Search are supporting the recruitment of an interim Transactional Finance Manager to oversee our client's Billing, Credit Control, and Supplier processes on an initial 6 month basis. Based in Edinburgh with hybrid working, if you have demonstrable experience leading a transactional finance team with knowledge of Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable, you'd be encouraged to apply.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Manage and mentor a team, ensuring effective output and career development.
* Oversee AP & AR functions, ensuring effective controls.
* Build positive team culture and drive continuous process improvements.
* Manage payables, client collections, aged debtors and credit risk.
* Develop KPI metrics and report to Senior Management.
* Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and manage corporate card spend.
* Support system implementations and finance transformation projects.
* Provide insight and reporting to wider Finance teams.
Skills & experience you'll ideally have:
* Extensive experience in AP/AR functions.
* Proven track record of managing small teams.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to consider the bigger picture.
