Department: IT Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time Location: Belper - Support Centre Compensation: £50,000 - £55,000 / year Description We are seeking an experienced programme manager, embedded within our business to lead the programme management of our new services and digital transformation projects. Working closely with the Chief Financial Officer, Digital Director and your colleagues across the business you will: - Programme manage the workstreams required to open all the homes schools and assessments for FY25 and beyond ahead of or on target to be in line with our forecast plan Ensure effective and transparent communication to the new homes opening team of all aspects of the programme through real time implementing and updating systems of communication and attendance at regular programme meetings to communicate progress against key dates Support all workstream leaders with completion of their aspects of the programme to ensure that deadlines are met, and submissions are accurate and avoidable mistakes are eliminated This is a hybrid role with a mix of working in our Support Centre in Belper and Home Working. Key Accountabilities The timely opening of all new homes (and temporary conditioned homes) and schools in line with the financial forecast Ensuring all workstream leaders complete their tasks on time and with accuracy and following up on outstanding items to avoid delays Ensure that an effective stage gate process is in place to ensure checkpoints are adhered to Manage the community relations workstream interacting with the Estates, ESG, Operations and Marketing teams to ensure effective community relations are managed in relation to each opening Ensure all registration (SC1 and SC2 forms) and compliance paperwork is completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner Ensure the completion of proprietor form and new school documents and submission to DfE for all new schools Ensure all Ofsted and DfE queries are responded to promptly Ensure all relevant stakeholders are always on the DBS update service and health declarations in place and to oversee a register of such documents ensuring all updates are made in a timely manner Liaising with Estates, Operations, HR and other departments to ensure all requirements are met in full in time for the school or home opening Ensure our digital transformation projects are delivered in a timely manner in line with the Digital strategy Support the IT and Digital team to plan and project manage each stage of the digital transformation project Track the progress of the digital transformation project against agreed milestones Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Demonstrable experience as a programme manager of a large multi strand programme preferably involving opening of new sites and regulatory compliance Relevant project management qualifications or equivalent levels of experience Desirable (but not essential) knowledge of the regulatory framework relating to the opening of children’s homes and schools Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to all tasks Knowledge of and fluency in programme management software Benefits We want you to feel valued and rewarded by your time at Esland.
