Title and Summary
Network Partnerships Manager - Europe
Overview
The Network Partnership Manager will have direct oversight of the Europe Mastercard cross border services (MA XBS) network, comprised of banks, NBFIs, and central banks. Manages the existing relationships and expands the network capabilities in line with strategic network and product objectives.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead all MA Cross-Border Services partnerships in Europe.
2. Drive the expansion and improvement of the MA Cross Border network in line with the network and product roadmap strategy.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including financial institutions, technology partners where necessary, and regulatory bodies.
4. Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities for remittances, partnerships, and market trends to expand Mastercard Cross-Border Services product offerings and market reach.
5. Lead negotiations and contract discussions with existing and potential partners to secure mutually beneficial agreements.
6. Stay updated with industry regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices to ensure the companys products and services meet all necessary standards.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine product strategies, COGS models, and partnership launch plans.
8. Collaborate with internal teams, including treasury, finance, sales, marketing, product, and customer support to ensure seamless customer experiences and successful corridor growth.
9. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market gaps, emerging trends, and potential areas of innovation.
10. Develop and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and business cases to prospects and internal stakeholders.
11. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess business performance, identify areas of improvement, and implement necessary strategies.
12. Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship and share knowledge with internal stakeholders to foster a collaborative and high-performance culture.
What are we looking for:
1. Proven ability to evolve in a complex matrix environment.
2. Demonstrated ability to operate with complete independence and autonomy.
3. Can communicate to executives, peers, and staff with impact, eloquence, and authenticity.
4. Has experience in international (specifically remittances) payments, foreign exchange, cash management, settlement, and reconciliation processes.
5. Extensive partnership experience in the payments industry.
6. Has intimate knowledge of European payments infrastructure & industry.
7. Has experience working in the remittance space.
8. Has proven success developing and managing payment partnerships.
9. Strong written and oral communication is a must, especially in English.
