We are looking for a Cisco Managed Services (Senior Specialist) to be part of our growing EMEA Cisco Practice. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining client networks and security solutions, primarily focused on Cisco technologies. You will oversee the transition of new clients into live service operations, BAU change management, configuration management and recommending improvements to the client environment. As a Managed Service Provider with clear growth ambitions, we’re looking for an initiative-taking, meticulous professional who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. You will bring strong support expertise in networking, data centre, and security, especially in Cisco solutions. Being a part of our 24x7 Managed Service Team, you will be delivering the highest levels of support to clients across various industries and sizes. As a Senior member of the team, you will be expected to bring a wealth of knowledge and experience gained in a similar Cisco Managed Service or Engineering role. As a Cisco Managed Services – Senior Specialist your Responsibilities are : Monitor and maintain client systems to ensure peak performance, security, and stability. Execute planned and BAU changes, patching within the client environments, following best practices. Be part of the on-call team to provide round-the-clock assistance to our clients. Leverage ITIL principles and ServiceNow for troubleshooting and resolving incidents. Partner with internal teams and external vendors to resolve issues quickly and maintain service continuity. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for client environments and solutions. Conduct deep dives to resolve complex issues, providing long-term fixes. Contribute to refining and standardising Insight’s managed services solutions. As an experienced member of the team, you will provide guidance and knowledge transfer to junior team members. Experience and Skills: Expertise in Cisco Networking, Data Centre switching (Nexus, ACI), and Security (Firewalls, ISE). Proven record in delivering network managed and support services (minimum 5 years), preferably within a Cisco partner environment. Experience with network monitoring software and ITSM platforms (ServiceNow specifically). Ability to onboard and support new Managed Service clients. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tickets and prioritize urgency. Analytical person with a focus on root-cause resolution. Collaborator with excellent communication skills and the willingness to mentor and support colleagues. Commitment to quality, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery. A desire for continuous learning and professional development, especially in cutting-edge technologies. Valid CCNP Certification and additional Cisco Partner Specialisations would be beneficial.
