Many children may also have sensory impairments, physical disabilities, and complex healthcare needs. Shift Details: A mix of early shifts, late shifts, long days, and waking nights Includes alternate weekend shifts Key Responsibilities: Maintain a safe and nurturing environment, fostering positive experiences for each child Assist children in daily activities, promoting their development and well-being Collaborate with the management team to support the individual needs of each child Qualifications & Experience Level 3 in Residential Childcare or Level 3 Diploma for Children and Young Peoples Workforce (Social Care Pathway) (or willingness to work toward this qualification) Experience working with children with moderate to severe learning disabilities, Autism, ADHD, sensory impairments, and behavioral challenges Experience in EBD residential settings will also be considered Skills & Abilities Ideal candidates possess: Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively Knowledge and experience in following and implementing care and support plans Conflict management skills to navigate high-pressure situations A caring, approachable, and reliable attitude About Progress With over 24 years of experience, Progress provides Residential, Supported Living, and Fostering services across the Midlands.
