We are looking for a Commissioning Manager who can promote the business with local authorities, leading to new admissions in their services. The Commissioning Manager will be responsible for obtaining, managing, and placing new residents. This will be a fast-paced role with lots of variety, building deep-rooted partnerships with key stakeholders internally and externally with local authorities to identify their needs and position the group’s high-quality services to meet such needs. Furthermore, the Commissioning Manager will oversee the smooth transition of service leavers and ensure that the process is organised and robust. Most of your time will be spent out in the field, supporting teams across the northwest local authorities and otherwise working from home. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in how commissioning works; they will already have established contacts within the sector/region. Importantly, they will possess a firm understanding of the care sector - how homes operate on a day-to-day basis and how the referral process works.
