We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Service Manager to lead our talented Oakham workshop team. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll inspire and develop a skilled team of engineers, ensuring outstanding service and customer satisfaction. If you have a strong background in service management, aftermarket operations, or workshop leadership, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
What you’ll be doing:
* Leading & mentoring the service team – Cultivate a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
* Customer engagement – Build strong relationships, ensuring service needs are met with professionalism and expertise.
* Optimising operations – Drive efficiency in resource allocation, planning, and administration to maximise productivity.
* Upholding service excellence – Maintain high standards in safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
* Using technology & systems – Leverage the latest tools to streamline service processes and enhance performance.
* Driving business growth – Collaborate with other departments to support company-wide initiatives and profitability.
What we’re looking for:
* Proven leadership experience in a service, aftermarket, or workshop management role.
* Passion for engineering and a deep understanding of technical service operations.
* Strong customer focus with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Experience in industries such as agriculture, automotive, HGV, plant, or engineering-based machinery.
* Commercial acumen – Ability to run a profitable and efficient service department.
* Adaptability & resilience – Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
* Seasonal & Weekend Availability – Weekend and harvest availability will be required to meet customer demands.
