We are seeking a Registered Manager to oversee our Children's Learning Disabilities Service in Loughborough. As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and delivery of high-quality care and support to children and young people with Learning Disabilities.
This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of working with children and young people who have various Learning Disabilities and/or autism.
The ideal candidate for this Registered Manager - Learning Disabilities will:
* Have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a mental health setting, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role
* Experience working with children and young people in a mental health capacity
* Knowledge of current legislation and regulations related to mental health services for children and young people
* Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, families, and external agencies
* Proven ability to manage budgets and resources effectively
* Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
* Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for work purposes
Your responsibilities will include:
* Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Children's Learning Disabilities Service, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care
* Providing leadership and support to a team of mental health professionals and support staff
* Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations
* Managing budgets and resources effectively to ensure the service operates within financial constraints
* Building and maintaining relationships with clients, families, and external agencies to promote collaboration and effective service delivery
* Conducting regular audits and reviews to monitor the quality and effectiveness of the service
* Ensuring the service meets all necessary standards and requirements for registration and inspection
* Participating in recruitment, training, and development of staff members
* Keeping up-to-date with developments and best practices in the field of children's mental health and implementing changes as necessary
