Technical Coordinator Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Coordinator to join our team at Vistry Kent, based in Kings Hill, West Malling. As a Technical Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing the entire design process, overseeing consultants, and liaising with statutory authorities, local authorities, and other stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This will involve close collaboration with internal teams, including architects, engineers, and surveyors, as well as external partners such as contractors and suppliers.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also have a strong understanding of building regulations, health and safety protocols, and environmental sustainability principles.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage the design process from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets.
* Liaise with consultants, statutory authorities, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement effective project plans, schedules, and budgets.
* Maintain accurate records and reports, using industry-standard software and tools.
* Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring that projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the required standards.
Requirements:
* Degree in a relevant field, such as architecture, engineering, or construction management.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction or property development sector.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Strong project management skills, with experience of using industry-standard software and tools.
* Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team.
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
