Due to significant growth, the company is seeking a strong leader to manage their contracts management team, providing a platform for professional development and the opportunity to make a real impact.\n\nRole Overview:\n\nReporting to the Directors, the Senior Contracts Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a team of Contracts Managers on regional and national projects.
The role involves ensuring all contracts, projects, and sites operate effectively, adhering to company policies, procedures, and all necessary safety regulations. \n\nResponsibilities:\n\nOversee the day-to-day management of a team of Contracts Managers. \n\nEnsure all contracts, projects, and sites operate effectively and within established Policies and Procedures.
\n\nEnsure all necessary safety documentation (Permits, Method Statements, Risk Assessments, etc.) are produced, issued, and being complied with. \n\nPromote, lead, and work in accordance with Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality standards. \n\nEnsure all company and client requirements are met throughout projects.
\n\nProvide support to the Directors. \n\nCapture events impacting on costs and programs to provide timely updates to project status and forecasts. \n\nImplement adequate project controls to improve efficiency and enhance project profitability, including debt management.
\n\nParticipate in the on-call rota (1 in 5 weeks). \n\nIdeal Candidate:\n\nCurrently employed as a Contracts/Project Manager and looking to take the next step to lead a team. \n\nExperience preferably in the sectors of operation (Hospitality, Retail, Education).
\n\nComfortable dealing directly with clients. \n\nAbility to organize their own work effectively and efficiently. \n\nSkilled in delegating tasks and monitoring progress and profitability.
\n\nEssential Skills and Experience:\n\nProficient in Excel for estimating, cost reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. \n\nAbility to plan and manage fluctuations in project resources. \n\nExperienced in the relevant trading sectors.
\n\nIOSH Managing Safely/SMSTS certification. \n\nFull UK driving license (as national travel is required). \n\nExperience managing teams in a multi-disciplinary contracting environment.
