THE ROLE Key responsibilities The Sales Lead - Local & Regional Government (LRG) is a vital role within Agilisys This role is responsible for building relationships, creating opportunities, and closing sales, ultimately contributing to our mission of delivering transformative services across the public sector. Specific duties You will be comfortable doing the following, with a proven track-record of success: Selling the entire Agilisys portfolio of digital services, from AI, Data, Service Transformation, Cloud services, Modern Work / End User Computing, and IT Service Management, with experience of doing so from a professional services and managed services perspective. Generating, nurturing and closing opportunities through your own sales efforts as well as experience of working with Sales and Marketing teams to build campaigns and harness the power of the wider organisation. Identifying, driving and closing opportunities within your agreed market area, working closely with colleagues from across the business to achieve this. Maintaining a strong knowledge and understanding of technology developments (in particular the Microsoft stack, plus other technologies such as UIPath, Sorroco etc) Accurately managing all forecasting and account/opportunity detail within SalesForce.com Building strong relationships across the Agilisys senior leadership team, in particular Sales, Marketing, Professional Services and Managed Services teams. Excellent stakeholder management experience is essential to being successful in this role. The Ideal Candidate Demonstrable success in meeting or exceeding assigned sales goals and targets within Local Government. A strong network across Local Government and understanding of both national issues and specific local challenges and opportunities, and how technology can be used to help address these. Proven capability in developing apipeline from lead generation to close through own initiatives and engagements with partners. Comfortable with ambiguity and capable of identifying and defining problem statements that Agilisys can address with its services.
