We are looking for a new Staff Accountant to join our growing team This is a full-time, exempt position with the option to work remotely 3 days a week once proficiency is demonstrated. Sample of Essential Responsibilities: Develop, post, and analyze journal entries for US and UK locations. Perform cash reconciliations functions on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Maintain account reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts. Perform analytic reviews of income statement accounts on an ongoing basis. Ensure all subledgers are reconciled to reported general ledger account balances. Close accounting periods on a monthly and annual basis in accordance with US GAAP. Produce periodic Financial Statements for review with CFO and Director of Finance and Accounting. Prepare, distribute and support profit/cost center reporting including providing liaison support to other groups outside of accounting and finance. Back up all banking, accounts payable and treasury roles at the Firm. Assist with coordination and completion of annual financial statement reviews and annual/quarterly tax preparation work performed by external firms. Work direct ly with the Director of Finance and Accounting to assist with the completion of any priority projects. Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external business clients. Take on additional operational assignments or special projects as determined by Firm management and develop familiarity with all Firm operations teams. Contribute to Firm’s process improvement efforts targeted at making the Firm a sustainable and best practice operation. Preferred Qualifications and Experience: Accounting or related degree required. Must have highest integrity, including ability to treat confidential information appropriately. Team player, who must effectively communicate/interact with all members of the Firm and its clients. Must be available for full 40-hour work week at Devon PA office until proficiency at job is achieved (Firm allows for up to 3 days remote work once proficiency is demonstrated). Must be a strong relationship builder and communicator (good listener, with ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing) with excellent emotional intelligence. Experienced multi-tasker, capable of strict attention to detail. Strong user Microsoft Office Suite (Word/EXCEL) Knowledge of reporting tools (PowerBI) is a plus.
