Ranworth Surgery h as an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive administrator/receptionist to join our team on a part-time basis for 30 hours per week. The shifts are as follows; Monday 12.30pm - 6.30pm Tuesday non working day Wednesday 9am - 6.30pm Thursday 8am - 6.30pm Friday 12.30 - 6.30pm The position will be undertaking a wide range of reception and administrative duties and the provision of general support to the multidisciplinary team. Duties will include; Greeting and directing patients. Carrying out patient registrations. Booking appointments, maintaining and monitoring the appointment system. Processing of information (electronic and hard copy) and assisting patients as required. Acting as a point of contact for patients, the distribution of information, messages and enquiries for the clinical team. Liaising with multidisciplinary team members and external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers. For further information, please see the job description attached. About the Candidate To be considered for this role, you will have the following qualifications, experience and skills; Educated to GCSE level or equivalent. Excellent communication skills. Strong IT skills. Clear, polite telephone manner. Flexible and corporative. Forward thinker. Experience of working with the general public desirable. F lexibility to work outside of core office hours on occasions. GP practice experience preferred, but not essential.
