Duties: [will be to:] \nâ¢\tProvide first-line technical support to staff and pupils, including troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.\u202F \nâ¢\tSet up, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and other technology equipment across campus.\u202F \nâ¢\tAssist with managing user accounts, permissions, and access control for various systems and applications.\u202F \nâ¢\tSupport teachers with classroom technology, including interactive whiteboards, projectors, and other AV equipment.\u202F \nâ¢\tMonitor and manage helpdesk tickets, ensuring timely resolution of issues and communication with users.\u202F \nâ¢\tAssist the MIS Manager in the maintenance, updating, and troubleshooting of the schoolâs Management Information System (MIS), ensuring accurate and secure data \n management. \nâ¢\tProvide support for data administration tasks, including report generation, data imports/exports, and resolving data-related issues to ensure seamless school \n operations. \nâ¢\tDocument and update technical processes and troubleshooting steps for common issues.\u202F \nâ¢\tMaintain an inventory of IT equipment and coordinate with vendors for repairs or replacements.\u202F \nâ¢\tCollaborate with the IT team on projects to improve and upgrade school technology systems.\u202F What we are looking for:\nâ¢\tStrong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other standard software.\u202F \nâ¢\tFamiliarity with network troubleshooting, Wi-Fi management, and general network security practices.\u202F \nâ¢\tExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.\u202F \nâ¢\tStrong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.\u202F \nâ¢\tPatience, a positive attitude, and a commitment to giving excellent customer service.\u202F \n\nImportant information: \nThis vocational apprenticeship comprehensively supports your specific job role with this particular employer.
