The London Fire Brigade and Harris Hill are working in partnership to recruit a new Fundraising Coordinator. The role is vital for the organisation and will work closely with the Fundraising and Partnerships Manager to raise vital funding.
Location: London or access to London. 2 days a week in the office.
Salary: £40,000
Key responsibilities:
* Write funding proposals and develop major donor and sponsorship packages.
* Work on the strategy with the Fundraising and Partnerships Manager.
* Cultivate close relationships with various departments across London Fire Brigade and identify opportunities for potential fundraising and sponsorship partnerships.
* Develop innovative new ways to acquire funding.
Experience:
* Relationship fundraising experience with at least 3 years' experience.
* Proven fundraising experience and a successful track record of raising income.
* Negotiation experience at all levels with internal and external stakeholders, corporate sponsors, donors, charities, and grant giving bodies.
* Experience of working as part of a team with minimal supervision and demonstrating initiative and flexibility to deal with a range of tasks.
This role will identify and develop innovative opportunities to generate income to fund the London Fire Brigade Museum and other suitable LFB projects which align with LFB's Communications and Engagement Strategy. The role includes addressing mental health and wellbeing, reaching new audiences, sourcing income generation and supporting engagement with the communities LFB serves.
