The Shopfitting Shop Limited is a mail order business based in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. We specialise in online sales of display equipment to shops and homes. We operate Monday - Friday and distribute goods from our warehouse located at the same address. Our sales platforms include Amazon, eBay and multiple websites. We are looking for someone to join our team and assist with day to day financial entries. This position is for an immediate start due to a current staff member leaving.
Job Title: Operations Clerk (Sage Accounts & Office Administration)

Reports to: Managing Director
Job Purpose:
To provide comprehensive support in the operations and finance department by efficiently managing office administration tasks and maintaining accurate financial records using Sage accounting software.
Key Responsibilities:
* Financial Operations:
* Process invoices, payments, and receipts using Sage accounting software.
* Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and assist with account reconciliations.
* Generate and review financial reports as needed.
* Office Administration:
* Manage day-to-day office tasks, including filing, scheduling, and correspondence.
* Maintain an organized filing system for both digital and paper documents.
* Data Management:
* Ensure timely and accurate data entry of financial and operational information into Sage and other systems.
* Assist in maintaining the integrity of financial data through regular updates and health checks.
* Customer & Supplier Liaison:
* Communicate with suppliers and customers regarding invoices, payments, and account inquiries.
* Resolve any issues related to accounts payable and receivable.
* Compliance & Documentation:
* Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
* Assist in preparing documentation for financial reviews.
* Team Support:
* Provide administrative support to the finance and operations teams as needed.
* Liaise with Accountant to ensure accurate data and improve processes.
* Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
* Experience:
* Proven experience in an office administration role, preferably with experience in finance or accounting.
* Knowledge of Sage accounting software is beneficial.
* Skills:
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
* Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

* Proactive and resourceful with strong problem-solving skills.
* High level of professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information.
Working Conditions:
