Durham & Darlington Getting Help Team (GHT) CAMHS are looking for enthusiastic, dynamic and motivated CAMHS Clinicians to work as part of a fast paced, highly acclaimed multi-disciplinary team. We carry out online, telephone and face-to-face evidence-based assessments and interventions across Durham and Darlington and provide early interventions for children & young people. You will join the service at a time where a real difference can be made to children and young people's lives. You will be expected to have the necessary skills and experience to undertake comprehensive mental health assessments with children and families. Candidates should be skilled professionals with excellent interdisciplinary working skills and interested in contributing to the development of an innovative service. Main duties of the job Assessment and early intervention for children and young people alongside their families and other professionals involved, to identify the best support for them in a time of mental health difficulty. Working with partner agencies, attending multi-agency meetings, to identify external support as well as internal CAMHS pathways. Duties are carried out across our four CAMHS bases, Darlington, Easington, South Durham and North Durham. Travel time and mileage expenses are covered where home to base distance is exceeded.
