Superior Recruitment Group are supporting a major Operator based on Saltend who are looking for a Senior or Principal C&I Engineer to join their team.
This is a Permanent position.
We are looking for a C&I Engineer to support the delivery of defined engineering tasks for different projects to the highest standards.
The role:
1. Support the delivery of defined engineering tasks for different projects to the highest standards complying with legal obligations and client statement of requirements.
2. Support the development of proposals for new business opportunities, provision of consultancy services and deputy line management responsibilities of the team.
3. Where required perform the role of ‘Lead Engineer’ for appropriate projects in line with the scope of work and as-sold budgets. Support resource management within the C&I Discipline (Principal only).
4. Delivery on time in full for responsible scope.
5. Assessing competence within the C&I discipline.
6. Support Design Assurance for C&I discipline.
7. Provide on-going technical support to projects and team.
8. Support continuous improvement initiatives. Provide technical expertise for the specification, design, purchase, installation and commissioning of C&I systems.
9. Produce, review and understand associated documentation relating to the design, installation and operation of C&I systems.
10. Analyse data, troubleshoot performance, conduct root cause analysis and make recommendations to improve C&I issues.
11. Make decisions involving technical issues, budget considerations, project schedules and safety with a minimum level of supervision.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
2. Experience of C&I engineering in the delivery of the full project life-cycle including Pre-FEEDs, FEEDs and EPC within chemicals, petrochemicals, oil and gas, and power industries.
3. Working knowledge and experience of C&I design standards and legislation.
4. Experience of hazardous area equipment selection and installation design requirements including relevant standards.
