JOB DESCRIPTION: Our client is seeking an experienced Sales Manager (HVAC) with a strong technical background to drive sales within the Sheffield area. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of selling directly to consultants and end users rather than M&E contractors, with expertise in winning maintenance and service contracts. KEY RESULTS/ACCOUNTABILITIES EXPECTED FROM THE ROLE: Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute sales strategies to drive business growth and secure maintenance and service contracts. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants and end users, understanding their needs and providing tailored HVAC solutions. Technical Expertise: Utilize in-depth HVAC knowledge to provide technical support and guidance to clients, ensuring the best-fit solutions for their requirements. Market Development: Identify new business opportunities and expand the company’s presence in the Sheffield and North of England region. Proposal and Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations and secure contracts, ensuring profitability and long-term partnerships. Collaboration: Work closely with the operations and service teams to ensure seamless contract fulfilment and customer satisfaction. Reporting: Prepare and present sales forecasts, performance reports, and strategic plans to senior management. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND CHARACTERISTICS: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. Proven experience as a Sales Manager in the HVAC industry, specifically in selling to consultants and end users. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, maintenance, and service contract sales. Demonstrated ability to win and manage long-term maintenance and service contracts. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Technical background with the ability to understand and discuss HVAC system designs and requirements. Proficient in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
