Job Description:
To drive food safety and quality standards as part of the Technical Excellence agenda.
The successful candidate will lead the development of Quality Systems to ensure they meet the needs of the retailer customer and for the site, focusing on building a culture of food safety within the area of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
* Promote positive behaviours among team members to understand food safety and quality principles.
* Coach and develop team members to effectively implement quality systems.
* Root cause analysis and issue resolution to prevent quality deviations.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align quality objectives with business goals.
* Develop and maintain quality policies, procedures, and training programs.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in food safety and quality management.
* Strong knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000, and other relevant regulations.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
