Adoption Senior Social Worker – West Midlands Are you a passionate and experienced Social Worker looking to make a meaningful difference in children’s lives? We have a fantastic opportunity for an Agency Adoption Social Worker to join a dedicated team in the West Midlands. Hourly Rate: £33.30 Hours: Full-time or 30 hours per week (flexible based on your circumstances) Contract: Initial 6-month contract with the possibility of extension Location: West Midlands (caseload within an estimated 30-mile radius around the Black Country) About the Role: You will work within a dynamic adoption team, taking on a varied caseload. This includes preparing and completing Prospective Adoption Reports (PARs), supporting children transitioning from fostering placements to adoption, and contributing to life-changing outcomes for children and families. Office presence is required at least twice a week, including one day covering duty in the local area. What We’re Looking For: Qualifications and Registration: A qualified social worker with at least 3 years post-qualified experience. Current registration with Social Work England (SWE). Skills and Experience: Proven ability to complete Prospective Adoption Reports (PARs). Experience in fostering and moving children from placements to adoption is highly desirable.
