Previous applicants do not need to apply Main duties of the job Learning how to label and dispense individual patient medication is core in the dispensary. The role also involves some clerical duties such as prescription filing, booking in prescriptions, passing invoices for payment, answering the telephone etc. Whilst working in stores you will be an essential part of stock distribution assisting in minimising waste at pharmacy and ward level and saving nursing time.At ward levelafter training, you will regularly visit dedicated ward areas to monitor stock levels and expiry dates, working closely with nursing staff. Manual handling of stock and a significant amount of physical work are key parts of this role.
