Quality/Performance Undergraduate
Uniper UK is looking for an undergraduate to join us in September 2025 at CDCPK (Cottam & Killingholme Power Stations). You will work within our Quality, Performance and Operational Excellence team to support our journey to continuous improvement. We are looking for an undergraduate with a range of interpersonal skills to work directly with our Quality and Operational Excellence Lead engineers.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Assist and support the Quality and Performance Engineers in developing and implementing site’s improvements plans and quality initiatives.
* Work closely with all our UK quality/performance representatives and communicate to foster a growth and learning community.
* Take ownership of specific quality and operational excellence initiatives e.g. streamlining the processes between the 3 different CDCPK sites.
* Develop and maintain quality dashboards across CDCPK.
Your profile:
* Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of Quality Management and Continuous Improvement.
* Familiar with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) tools and techniques.
* Computer Literate and experienced with Microsoft 365 including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive etc. Experience with Power BI advantageous.
* Ability to communicate at all levels of the business including senior stakeholders with confidence.
* Passionate about continuous improvement.
* Ability to work under pressure and independently with little or no supervision.
* UK Driving license.
* A student from an Engineering (STEM)/technical discipline, e.g. Mechatronics, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science with a great interest in Quality Management Systems and/or Operational Excellence and/or Performance management.
* Interest within the energy sector.
