We’re seeking a Director of Digital and Content for a 9-month contract here at Virgin. You'll be accountable for leading the digital, content, and social media strategy across Virgin Red and Virgin. 1. Direct the digital strategy and growth of the Virgin brand, including content, social media, and engagement initiatives.
2. Develop a comprehensive acquisition and monetisation plan for Virgin and Virgin Red to meet key business objectives.
3. Support and partner with Virgin companies on digital, content, social and marketing strategies to support their goals.
4. Lead a highly engaged team of content makers to create a world-class social presence that customers will love and oversee the content strategy across platforms.
5. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment between digital efforts and overarching business objectives.
6. Provide strategic guidance and protect the reputation of the Virgin Group.
What you’ll need
1. Strong leadership and management abilities to direct cross-functional teams and initiatives.
2. Strategic thinking and communication skills to advise senior stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
3. Crisis management expertise to effectively handle reputational risks and digital challenges.
4. Demonstrated creative execution skills and content creation/editing capabilities.
5. Deep awareness of the Virgin brand, voice, and proven track record in digital strategy.
6. Diverse experience managing budgets, partnerships, and complex, multi-faceted projects.

Location: London hub at least 1-2 days per week & your home space
