Job Role: Digital Marketing Manager - FTC (Mat cover)
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum
Full Time: 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday
Location: Hamble (hybrid working)

The Royal Yachting Association is seeking an experience Digital Marketing Manager on a fixed term contract to coordinate, support and deliver the digital marketing strategy. Either directly or via agencies you will coordinate multiple digital marketing channels to ensure clear organisation and ensure club and membership messages are maximised.

What you’ll be doing:
10. Traffic generation to deliver business objectives of new members, retention, increase awareness of RYA brand and general interest in our key messages
11. Social media platform owner responsible for activity coordination (including paid advertising), supporting content creators, provide best practice guidance
12. Email platform owner responsible for email build, send, data management and best practice
13. Paid search and other Google tools owner managing budgets to deliver agreed targets
14. Search engine optimisation working with technical and content teams around the business to continually improve and optimise
15. On site campaign management for internal advertising, cross business campaign
16. Digital agency management
17. Marketing budget management both direct budget and that of stakeholders around campaign activity
18. Content strategy coordination, working with business stakeholders to develop content management processes ensuring a content and activity calendar is managed in collaboration with the PR Team
19. Customer journey owner for core deliverable activities e.g., membership, renewals, online sales
20. Analytics and reporting of channel and site success to the wider business with regular established reporting and actionable decisions
What we’re looking for:
21. Stakeholder management at a senior level – establishing digital marketing within the business as a service function and delivery point is key to success
22. Email marketing management – set up creative, manage data, GDPR permissions, campaigning and coordination.
23. Social media platform expert across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. Experience of scheduling tools such as Hootsuite
24. Content management and copywriting taking subject matter expert information and turning it into content to support our campaigns and search strategy
25. Reporting and analytics of channel and site success – through use of Google Analytics
26. Experience of managing digital marketing channel budgets both directly and indirectly through agencies
27. Managing a team of three executives, coaching and mentoring them to deliver full potential
28. Awareness of online marketing trends
