Application Requirements:
• Previous experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant or similar role in a UK school.
• HLTA qualification or equivalent.
• A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Key Stages 1 and 2.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• A valid Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undertake one.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, deliver, and assess lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
• Provide targeted support to individual students and small groups.
• Collaborate with teachers to adapt learning resources for varying needs.
• Monitor and record student progress, offering feedback to staff and parents.
• Support the overall development of the children, both academically and emotionally.
