Graduate Opportunities in the Special Education Needs (SEN) Sector - £85 to £95 per day
We recruit for the Special Needs sector where we specifically look for Criminology, Law, Sociology or Psychology graduates who aspire to work in the areas of psychology, youth work or criminal justice.
In this sector, Special Needs Schools vary and also include Pupil Referral Units (PRU) and other provisions where the experience gained would be valuable if you have aspirations within Youth Work, Probation and Rehabilitation.
We recruit enthusiastic graduates to gain valuable experience working in the education sector with a focus on providing mental health and wellbeing support to students in the classroom as well as, very importantly, growing your own network and connections with specialists in the field of education, case work, youth work, psychology and special needs.
As a member of the learning support team, you will:
* Work directly with children and youth to provide individualized support and guidance in a school or SEN environment
* Assist in implementing strategies to promote positive mental health and wellbeing within the classroom environment
* Collaborate with teachers, counsellors, and other professionals to develop and implement interventions tailored to students' needs
* Gain hands-on experience in educational settings, including primary and secondary schools
* Make a tangible difference in the lives of students by fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Hours are 08h30 to 15h30 and pay between £85 and £95 per day.
