An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an experienced manager and/or service development manager to join our Business Development Team. This is a senior role leading on the growth and development of our screening services throughout the UK. The business currently provides 4 screening services: Diabetic Eye, Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm, Breast and Lung, all of which have a track record of delivering above-average uptake rates. We have ambitious growth plans for our screening services, and you will need to be comfortable in a fast-paced, complex environment, managing changes of direction. The role is home based with UK travel to sites and customers as required. What you will do: The Service Development Manager will display strategic, commercial initiative that drives and delivers effective results, enabling the continued growth and development of our services nationally. Your role will be critical in further expanding our existing services, including identification and involvement in developing new services, establishing growth through new and existing customers. You will be key in our engagement strategy, working collaboratively with all areas of the business, planning forward and working cross functionally to achieve industry-leading service offerings and deliver growth and increased revenue within an exceptional Healthcare service. What you are responsible for: Establishing and maintaining relationships with key NHS stakeholders across a defined region to identify any opportunities to support with additional capacity across the following modalities CT, MRI, Endoscopy and Cardiac Developing relationships with customers to define their needs and current challenges Being the main point of contact for business development support for the internal clinical and operational teams Supporting clinical and operational leads by attending Contract Review Meetings with customers Leading on the identification and subsequent appraisal of business development opportunities, using the support of clinical, financial and operational teams (and your own judgment) to make recommendations Developing proposals for new customers which respond to the needs of the market and highlight InHealth’s service offering, using the support of our marketing team as required Working with clinical and local operational teams to manage opportunities from formal tender through to project mobilisation Identifying new tender opportunities Taking responsibility for all aspects of the tender response (OBS/PQQ/ITT) and contract negotiation (in collaboration with clinical and operational teams) Drafting contract variations as and when required, liaising with the in-house legal team for review and support Maintaining accurate contract records on the Intelligent Contract online repository Managing existing contractual relationships where required in collaboration with clinical and operational teams Playing a key role in contributing to the business development strategy for the growth of the screening services Maintaining relationships with subcontractors You will have experience of: Demonstrable experience of working within a healthcare environment A track record of successful business development at National Account / strategic level Experience of national tenders for services, NHS supply chain frameworks, bid submission and procurement processes Building business and commercial relationships at different levels Using information management systems Experience of dealing with management, whether that is to support decision making such as business cases, plans, bids and in terms of reporting progress/status, the individual should be entirely comfortable dealing with more senior colleagues What's in it for you We offer a fantastic benefits package, which is available through a mobile-enabled rewards platform, called InJoy.
