We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join the team at our Solihull site. Our Production facility at our site in Solihull is a fast paced, multi shift operation that requires quick thinking and responsive maintenance support to ensure we continue to deliver our products to our customer in sequence and in time.
Responsibilities:
* Plan, advise and modify as required maintenance scheduling of machinery and Plant.
* Carry out immediate repairs of production equipment and machines in the case of breakdowns with regards to all elements of failure i.e. mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic etc.
* Installation, commissioning and maintenance of new equipment.
* Maintain the technical infrastructure of the UK plant building.
* Plan, order and administrate spare parts and Production related consumables.
* Assist the central technical departments in carrying out technical changes and improvements including relocations / Modifications.
* Create, modify and follow Optimise procedures.
* Reduce year on year maintenance costs and ensure delivery of preventative maintenance KPI's.
Minimum Requirements:
* Several years' experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
* City and Guilds 2330 Electrical Installation Level 2.
* Electrical Installation Level 3.
* IEE 17th Wiring Regulations.
* City and Guild Level 3 Maintenance Engineering.
* IPAF Access licence.
* BTEC National Certificate in Electronics.
* Pneumatik Fest/City and Guild.
* Applicants MUST have a fully time served (Electrical or Mechanical) apprenticeship; applicants who don't will be automatically rejected.
