Care manager

Care Manager is needed in Bradford, West Yorkshire for immediate start.

Responsibilities of care manager

* Care Manager will be Ofsted registered, maintain and promote the care service delivered to high standards expected by Ofsted.
* Crae manager will contribute to the young person's care plans and risk assessments, reviews and implementation.
* Care Manager will form effective relationships with the children and their families (where required) and external agencies.
* Ensure the home is kept clean and tidy, and encourage the young people to participate as appropriate.
* Ensure records are up to date and maintained as required with supervision and advice from superiors.
* Contribute to each young person's educational and social development and assist them with their Education Programs.
* Care Manager will meet the emotional and physical needs of the young residents and maximise opportunities for their development.
* Provide support to the manager of the home whilst on shift and performing senior duties as directed.

Care manager requirements:

1. Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People or equivalent.
2. Level 5 Diploma in Childcare qualification or in training will be considered.
3. Experience in a children's home setting.
4. Ability to contribute to the Ofsted registration process.
