Job summary Eleanor Cross Healthcare is a dual sited GP Practice led by a team of 9 partners. We have 63 team members currently across the business and over 19,500 patients on our books. We are looking for an experienced minor illness nurse to work alongside our existing team. We are a forward planning surgery who are involved in training not just doctors but nursing team members also. Main duties of the job Offering on the day appointments for our patients. Day to day support for our clinical team. Continuos development. About us The team are led by 7 GP partners, 1 Clinical Pharmacist partner and 1 non-clinical Business Manager partner. We currently have a nursing team, inclusive of HCA's, of 13 and 4 Salaried GP's. The clinicians are supported by several managers, secretarial staff, administrative staff, care navigators, a Social Prescriber, a Care Co-ordinator, a Health and Well Being coach and 2 MSK Practitioners. All parts of the surgery pull together to support one another in a professional manner. Essential Qualifications & Experience: Minor illness certification or relevant additional training (minimum of level 6). Registered Nurse (RN) with a current NMC registration. Experience in a primary care with a particular focus on minor illness management. Advanced communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload, ensuring safe and effective care delivery. Knowledge of current clinical guidelines for minor illness management. Desirable Skills: Experience of working within a GP practice or other primary care settings. Clinical prescribing qualification (or willingness to undertake training if required).
